One of the biggest trends we’re seeing everywhere which I am obviously loving- is the multitude of rainbow jumpers and tops existing to brighten up my autumn and winter. Most autumn and winter trends aren’t very ‘me’. Though I’m trying to give a few trends a go anyways, the more me the easier, and the brighter the better. So today i’m sharing one look of me in a rainbow jumper and some of my favourite other rainbow jumpers that you may see on the blog soon!
This sweater is perfect. Oversized but doesn’t slip, comfy, toasty and works great with jeans. I wanted to maximise on colour so I went for a bright orange skirt. This proved a little tricky so I went for a French tuck- as otherwise I either lost the shape of the skirt completely or was totally bulked out by tucking the jumper in.
Whilst I love bright colours I think if this was a full ROYGBIV rainbow it would look a little too childish and so I definitely prefer the less linear colour combinations for a more ‘fashion’ take.
I went for nude shoes so the focus would be on my legs as I felt this outfit was already super bright and I didn’t want another colour in the mix. However due to my tan, my nude shoes are failing at serving their function- oops!
Here are some of my favourite rainbow sweaters to shop:
Keep an eye on me perservering with blogtober and keeping more rainbows in the mix!
